2010.03.02 Lake in Fog

I am still recovering from the long week at work, so I am digging out some photos from the archive. This was taken last fall on a particularly foggy day at Shawnee Mission Park. The fog, backlit by the sun, was so bright that my LX2 had trouble exposing correctly. The fix for this? Should have shot it in RAW mode. Live and learn.

After snowing for almost 12 hours, Shawnee Mission Park is covered in a pristine layer of snow. Several hikers, cyclists, and skiers (and photographers) are braving the single digit temps to catch a glimpse of the beautiful scenery.
