They have this building lit up beautifully. It shines like a beacon on the corner of 17th and Main. It was a clear night too, but maybe not THAT clear. Ha!

OK, so this is not the best example of an HDR image. And there is so much potential in this spot that I can't wait to come back. But, the unwritten rule is if you have to pay for a shot, it gets posted. It cost me $38 in the form of a parking ticket to nab this. So please, enjoy.

2010.01.18 Western Auto

The fog has still not lifted here in KC. And like the fog, I cant seem to get out from under these HDR images. They are seriously addicting. I am loving the surreal look that they produce - more like a painting than a photograph. Very captivating.

This is my first HDR image. I have more questions than answers at this point, but the potential here is significant. If my previous post captured a sense of minimalism, then this image begins to speak to the other side. Maximalism?
